1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Fakturu at fakturu.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Fakturu is an online tool for generating professional business documents including invoices, quotations, proforma invoices, and delivery notes. The core generator is available to all users without an account. Additional features are available to registered and paid users.

3. User accounts

To access saved documents, client management, and other account features, you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate fraudulent or forged documents
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service without permission

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Fakturu (company details, client information, document content). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the documents you generate.

6. Free tier and paid plans

The free tier is ad-supported. Free accounts may save up to 5 documents. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through LemonSqueezy. Plan features are as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.

7. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of purchase at hi@fakturu.com for a full refund. No questions asked.

8. Intellectual property

The Fakturu name, logo, and all software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission. The PDF documents you generate belong to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Documents generated by Fakturu are tools to assist you — you are responsible for verifying their accuracy and legal compliance in your jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fakturu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your saved data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
