Why we built Fakturu
Most invoicing tools are built for accountants, not for the freelancer who just finished a project and needs to send a clean PDF tonight. They're slow, complex, and expensive — and their free tiers are locked behind signups, ads, and feature gates that make the product feel hostile.
Fakturu takes a different approach. The generator is the landing page. You open it, it's already filled with sample data, and you can be downloading a professional PDF in under 60 seconds.
The name comes from the word for invoice in over 20 languages — faktur, faktura, factura, fatura, fattura, facture — all from the same Latin root factura. It's a global tool for a global workforce.
What we're building
Phase 1 is the generator — clean, fast, works for guests. Phase 2 adds accounts, saved documents, a client catalog, and a full quote-to-cash pipeline so you know which quotes became invoices and which invoices got paid.
Phase 3 is the Telegram bot. Type one sentence — "invoice sammy 14 rods at 1500 usd" — and get a professional PDF back in seconds. This is what makes Fakturu different from every other invoicing tool.
Business model
The core generator is free forever for guests. Accounts are free too. We show unobtrusive ads on the free tier to cover infrastructure costs. Paid plans start at $5/month and remove ads, unlock premium templates, and give you unlimited storage and the Telegram AI bot.
We don't sell your data. We don't gate the core tool behind a signup wall. We keep it simple.
