1. Who we are

Fakturu ("we", "our", "us") is an online invoice and business document generator available at fakturu.com. We are operated as an independent product.

2. Information we collect

Guest users (no account): We do not collect or store any personal information. Documents you generate are created entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.

Registered users: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. We also store the documents, clients, and products you save to your account.

Usage data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as the number of documents generated (no personal identifiers attached).

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Fakturu service
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure
• To store your saved documents and business data
• To send transactional emails (e.g. magic link login, payment confirmation)
• To improve the product through anonymous usage analytics

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). Files you upload (logos, payment proofs, signatures) are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel — web hosting and deployment
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method
• Google AdSense — ads shown to free and guest users
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing for paid plans
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your login session. Google AdSense may set cookies for ad personalization on the free tier. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data

8. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

9. Children

Fakturu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of Fakturu after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
